Forster
The Forster Products Inc Full Length Sizing Die for 6.5 PRC is a precision reloading die built for shooters who demand consistency and concentricity in every round they load. Whether you're preparing match ammunition, hunting loads, or high-volume practice rounds, a full-length sizing die is the foundation of reliable brass preparation. Forster's reputation in the reloading world rests on meticulous manufacturing—each die is machined from quality steel to tight tolerances, hand-polished before and after heat treatment, and finished to exacting standards that show up in the quality of your reloaded ammunition.
What sets Forster apart from generic sizing dies is attention to the details that actually matter when you're trying to chamber rounds without excessive force. The included E-Z Out Expander button is positioned higher in the neck than competing designs, which means it provides real support to the case neck during the expanding stroke. This thoughtful engineering keeps the case axis aligned while it's being withdrawn from the die—a small thing that adds up to rounder, more concentric cases and fewer seating surprises. The Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring is another Forster signature: instead of tightening a screw directly into the die's threaded body (which can damage the threads over time), the split ring tightens at both ends, distributing clamping force evenly and protecting your die.
If you're stepping up from basic die sets or replacing worn dies, this 6.5 PRC full-length die will integrate into any standard reloading press. It's the kind of tool that doesn't demand attention—it just delivers round after round of properly sized brass, letting you focus on powder charges and bullet seating.
| Cartridge | 6.5 PRC |
| Die Type | Full Length Sizing Die |
| Brand | Forster Products Inc |
| Part Number | 005349 |
This Forster full-length sizing die is compatible with any standard single-stage or progressive reloading press that accepts standard-thread dies (most common presses on the market). It mounts like any conventional reloading die.
You receive the full-length sizing die for 6.5 PRC, equipped with Forster's E-Z Out Expander button and Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring.
Concentric cases chamber more reliably, chamber with less resistance, and seat bullets more uniformly. This translates to better accuracy, smoother feeding, and less risk of press binding or difficult extraction. The E-Z Out button's higher position in the neck helps achieve and maintain that concentricity throughout the expanding stroke.
Yes. Forster's manufacturing standards and attention to concentricity make these dies a popular choice among precision shooters and handloaders who prioritize ammunition consistency.
