Forster
The Forster Products Inc 6.5 Creedmoor full length sizing die is built for reloaders who demand consistency and precision with every round. This die handles the critical full length sizing operation—resizing the entire case to spec and preparing the neck for a fresh bullet. Forster's reputation in the reloading community rests on tight manufacturing tolerances and meticulous hand finishing, both before and after heat treatment, that translate directly into more concentric, reliable ammunition.
What sets Forster's full length sizing die apart is the engineering of the neck-sizing process itself. The E-Z Out expander button is positioned higher in the neck than competing designs, giving it better leverage to support and maintain case neck concentricity as you withdraw the case from the die. That alignment matters—sloppy neck expansion can rob you of accuracy downrange. The die body is machined from quality steel with close tolerances and finished to a fine polish, built to last through thousands of reloads.
Forster's Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring deserves mention too. Instead of tightening a screw directly into the die threads (which can shift the die under pressure), the locking ring tightens between its two halves, clamping the die firmly and consistently in your press. It's a detail that keeps your die height rock-solid, cycle after cycle.
This die is purpose-built for 6.5 Creedmoor brass and integrates with standard reloading press mounting. Whether you're loading for long-range hunting, precision rifle competition, or just running a careful handload operation, this Forster sizing die rewards attention to process with repeatable, accurate ammunition.

A full length sizing die resizes the entire case—body, shoulder, and neck—back to SAMMI spec. This is the standard for most reloading, especially when you're feeding ammunition into a magazine or shooting multiple firearms. A neck sizing die only resizes the neck, which some benchrest or precision shooters prefer for maximum case life, but it requires more uniform brass and tighter process control.
This is a standard reloading die designed for use in any single-stage or progressive press with standard 7/8-14 TPI threads. Verify your press has this standard mounting thread before purchase.
Forster positions the E-Z Out expander button higher in the neck area than most other manufacturers' designs. This higher placement provides better support and helps keep the case neck centered and concentric during the expansion operation, which can improve bullet seating consistency and overall ammunition precision.
Yes. Forster dies are widely used by precision rifle shooters and long-range hunters who prioritize consistency and concentricity in their handloads. The attention to alignment and finish in this die supports that kind of accuracy-focused reloading.
