Cold Steel
The Cold Steel Tuff Lite is a compact folding knife built for everyday carry, field work, and tactical applications where a reliable blade matters. With a 2.50-inch AUS-8A stainless steel blade ground to a sheepsfoot profile and a 3.50-inch textured Griv-Ex handle, this folder delivers a no-nonsense design that works hard in your pocket, pack, or gear bag. Cold Steel engineered the Tuff Lite to be lightweight and quick-deploying without sacrificing edge retention or durability—exactly what you need when you need it.
The sheepsfoot blade shape gives you a flat cutting edge with a blunt tip, making it ideal for camp tasks, food prep, rope work, and general utility cutting where precision and control matter more than a pointed design. AUS-8A stainless steel holds an edge well and resists corrosion, a solid middle-ground choice for a knife that might see outdoor conditions. The textured Griv-Ex handle material provides a secure grip even when wet or gloved, and the compact 3.50-inch profile keeps the knife trim in a pocket or on a belt.
Whether you're an everyday carry enthusiast, a hunter gearing up for base camp, or an outdoorsman who values a practical fixed-cutting option in folding form, the Cold Steel Tuff Lite has earned its reputation as a workhorse. It's the kind of knife that fades into the background until you need it—then you're glad it's there.

Yes. The compact folding design and secure textured handle make it ideal for EDC. The 2.50-inch blade complies with most carry restrictions, and the Griv-Ex scales hold up to daily pocket carry and active use.
The flat-edged, blunt-tip profile excels at utility cutting, food prep, rope work, and camp tasks where control and precision are more important than penetration. It's also less likely to break the tip in rugged field conditions.
AUS-8A stainless steel resists corrosion well, and the textured Griv-Ex handle maintains grip even when wet or gloved. It's built to handle hunting camps, fishing trips, and general outdoor work.
With a 2.50-inch blade and 3.50-inch handle, the Tuff Lite is on the compact side—designed for carry efficiency and tactical deployment rather than heavy-duty chopping. It trades size for portability and speed.
