Cold Steel
The Cold Steel Tuff Lite 2.5" folding knife is a straightforward, no-nonsense blade built for hunters, outdoorsmen, and field users who want reliability without complexity. This is the kind of knife you grab for camp tasks, field dressing, rope work, or general utility—the same steel Cold Steel trusts in their professional and tactical lines. The 2.5-inch clip-point blade in AUS-8A stainless steel holds an edge decently and resists corrosion, making it at home in wet conditions where carbon steel would demand babying. The red Griv-Ex handle provides a solid grip and visual identification in pack or brush.
The locking mechanism keeps the blade fixed during hard use, so you can work without worrying about unexpected closure. The included pocket clip is straightforward and effective—carry it in a shirt pocket, pack, or tool roll without fuss. This isn't an EDC show-off knife or a collector's piece; it's a working folder that rewards a user who actually takes it outdoors. Cold Steel's Tuff Lite line has been around for years precisely because it does what it promises: decent steel, solid build, and practical size.
If you're outfitting a hunting pack, field kit, or overlanding rig and want a small, compact blade that handles utility tasks without eating much weight or space, the Tuff Lite delivers. At 2.5 inches it's genuinely packable, yet substantial enough to handle real cutting work. The AUS-8A steel won't hold an edge like a premium stainless, but it's forgiving and easy to touch up in the field with a stone or steel.

AUS-8A is a Japanese stainless steel that offers decent edge retention and good corrosion resistance. It's practical for field use and easy to sharpen, though it won't hold an edge as long as premium stainless or carbon steels. It's a solid choice for outdoor and hunting work where rust resistance matters.
Yes. The 2.5-inch clip-point blade and locking mechanism make it capable for hunting tasks and field utility. Its compact size and stainless steel construction suit the demands of camp work, rope cutting, and general outdoor use.
The Cold Steel Tuff Lite comes with a pocket clip for carrying. The knife itself is the primary item; no sheath or additional accessories are included beyond the clip.
The included pocket clip allows carry in a shirt pocket, pack, or gear belt. Because it's AUS-8A stainless, it resists rust, but like all knives it benefits from occasional cleaning and light oiling, especially after wet use. Sharpen with a stone or steel as needed.
