Cold Steel
The Cold Steel Tuff Lite folding knife is a compact, hardworking blade designed for hunters, campers, and anyone who needs reliable steel in their pocket without bulk. Built around a 2-inch AUS-8A stainless steel blade with a sheepsfoot profile, the Tuff Lite delivers practical cutting geometry in a frame small enough to carry every day without thinking about it. The black Griv-Ex handle offers a secure, textured grip even when your hands are wet or gloved, and the included pocket clip keeps the knife accessible and secure in your pants or pack.
AUS-8A is Cold Steel's choice for a reason: it holds an edge reasonably well, resists corrosion, and can be resharpened easily in the field or at home. The sheepsfoot blade shape—a flat or gently curved edge with no sharp point—makes it safe around fabrics and useful for food prep, opening boxes, and general utility work. The small size means the Tuff Lite fits everywhere, from a hunter's emergency kit to a fisher's tackle bag to your work pants on the job site.
Griv-Ex is Cold Steel's proprietary handle material: tough polymer that grips reliably and won't absorb water or swell. Combined with the pocket clip, you're looking at a knife that travels where you go, stays where you put it, and performs when you need it. No frills, no unnecessary weight—just a straightforward blade and handle built to work.

AUS-8A is stainless steel, so it resists rust and corrosion with minimal fuss. It holds an edge reasonably well for a stainless option and can be easily resharpened with a basic sharpener or whetstone if needed.
Yes. Griv-Ex is Cold Steel's durable polymer formulation, textured for positive grip even in wet, gloved, or muddy conditions. It won't absorb water or swell like some natural materials.
