Savage Arms
The Savage 64F .22LR semi-automatic rifle is a nimble, accurate rimfire that delivers reliable fun at the range, in the field, or in the backyard. Built on Savage's proven straight-blowback action and fed by a detachable 10-round magazine, the 64F pairs a 21-inch blued carbon steel barrel with a lightweight synthetic stock in green—a rig that's easy to handle, quick to sight in, and built to last. Whether you're introducing a new shooter to centerfire mechanics, plinking at distance, or training for precision, this rifle punches above its weight class in the rimfire world.
The 64F's appeal lies in its balance of accuracy and reliability. That grooved receiver accepts optics for shooters who want to upgrade from the standard open sights, and the adjustable rear sight lets you dial in your zero without fuss. The synthetic stock is impervious to weather and abuse—ideal if you're rotating this rifle between vehicles, cabins, or rough conditions. At just 5 pounds, it's one of the easiest rifles to shoulder for extended sessions, making it a natural choice for youth shooters or anyone who values light recoil and rapid follow-up shots.
Savage's reputation for accuracy translates directly to the 64F. That 1-in-16 rate of twist and 21-inch tube work together to deliver consistent, tack-driving performance downrange. The right-hand ejection and right-hand safety suit most shooters, and the 13.5-inch length of pull is accessible for a wide range of body types. Load it with high-velocity or standard .22 LR and expect the same reliable function and predictable ballistics that have made this platform a favorite among hunters, competitors, and recreational shooters for decades.

The Savage 64F comes with one 10-round detachable box magazine, open sights (adjustable rear, bead front), and the synthetic green stock. You'll need to supply ammunition and any additional optics or accessories separately.
The 64F is well-suited to small-game hunting—squirrel, rabbit, and similar—where .22 LR is appropriate. Its light weight and quick handling make it a natural choice for woodland hunting, and the adjustable sights or grooved receiver give you flexibility in how you set it up.
The length of pull is 13.5 inches, which is on the shorter end and accommodates a wide range of shooter sizes. Combined with its 5-pound weight and mild recoil, it's a very accessible rifle for youth shooters and adults with a smaller frame.
