RCBS
The RCBS Matchmaster Bushing Die Set for .338 Lapua is built for long-range and precision rifle reloaders who demand consistency. This neck-size die set uses interchangeable neck bushings—a proven technology among benchrest and competitive long-range shooters—to give you precise control over bullet tension while minimizing brass wear. Neck sizing extends case life compared to full-length sizing, making it a smart choice if you're loading match-grade ammunition or hunting rounds where every shot matters.
The die set includes a neck sizing die and a bullet seating die, both machined from case-hardened steel with precision-drilled and hand-polished internal surfaces. The sizing die comes equipped with a titanium carbo-nitride expander that reduces brass buildup and ensures smooth extraction. Where Matchmaster stands out is in the seating die: the oversized micrometer adjustment knob features clear lettering and hash marks for precise, repeatable adjustments down to one-thousandth of an inch. The exclusive loading window with bullet retention system lets you drop the bullet and run the press—no balancing, no fingers near the case mouth.
The free-floating, self-centering bullet seating stem guides your bullet into the case for outstanding concentricity, critical for accuracy at distance. Both dies use the standard 7/8"-14 thread, compatible with most single-stage and turret presses. Note that neck bushings are sold separately; you'll choose the right size for your .338 Lapua brass and desired bullet tension.
