RCBS
The RCBS 16608 MatchMaster Full-Length Bushing Die Set for 338 Lapua Magnum is built for precision handloaders who demand consistency in every round they chamber. This three-die set addresses the core challenges of competitive and long-range reloading: controlling neck tension, minimizing case stretch, and achieving repeatable bullet seating without the frustration of misalignment or damaged rounds.
The full-length sizing die is where precision begins. RCBS engineered precision-machined neck bushings that apply the exact amount of neck tension you need—a critical variable for shooters chasing sub-minute-of-angle groups. Paired with a titanium nitride-coated expander, the sizing die delivers smooth case extraction while reducing brass buildup, which translates to less work-hardening on your case necks and longer case life. That matters when you're investing in premium 338 Lapua brass.
The seating die is where the MatchMaster concept really shines. Instead of wrestling with traditional reloading dies, you simply place your bullet in the integrated bullet loading window, and the retaining system holds it steady while you raise the case to seat. No pinched fingers, no cocked bullets, no second-guessing. The seating stem itself is micrometer-adjustable, free-floating, and self-centering—meaning runout stays minimal and your seating depth stays consistent shot after shot. This is the kind of precision engineering that separates competition dies from standard fare.
If you're serious about 338 Lapua precision rifle work—whether for long-range hunting, PRS competitions, or bench rest—this die set removes variables from the reloading bench and puts them where they belong: in your hands.
