RCBS
The RCBS MatchMaster Neck Size Bushing Die Set for .22 CM is purpose-built for precision rifle reloaders who demand consistency in every round. This two-die set combines neck-sizing control with a competition-grade seating die, letting you maintain fired case body dimensions while fine-tuning neck tension—critical for accuracy-focused handloading in a tight-tolerance caliber like .22 CM.
The neck-sizing die is the heart of the system. Its precision-machined neck bushings allow you to apply just the right amount of neck tension without altering the case body, a key advantage over full-length sizing when you're working up loads for consistent velocity and tight groups. The titanium nitride-coated expander is engineered to slide smoothly during extraction and resists brass buildup, which translates to less stress on the case neck over multiple reloads—important when you're getting multiple firings out of premium brass.
The MatchMaster seating die removes guesswork and finger pinches from bullet seating. A bullet-retaining window lets you position the projectile safely before you raise the case into the die, eliminating the fumbling that can cause runaway seating or bent bullets. Pair that with a micrometer-adjustable, free-floating, self-centering bullet seating stem, and you have direct control over seating depth and bullet concentricity—the details that separate good groups from excellent ones.
If you're pushing precision limits with .22 CM or building match-grade ammunition, this die set rewards careful technique with the consistency competition and long-range hunting demand.
| Caliber | .22 CM |
| Die Type | Neck-sizing die and seating die set |
| Expander Coating | Titanium nitride |
| Seating Stem | Micrometer-adjustable, free-floating, self-centering |
Neck sizing resizes only the neck of the case while leaving the body untouched—ideal for handloads fired in the same rifle where the body already fits the chamber. Full-length sizing resizes the entire case, which is better for ammunition that may be fired in different firearms. The MatchMaster neck-sizing die preserves fired case dimensions for maximum precision and case life.
The titanium nitride coating reduces friction during case extraction and resists brass buildup on the expander ball. Less friction and cleaner extraction mean less stress on the case neck, which extends case life when you're reloading premium brass multiple times.
This set includes a neck-sizing die with precision-machined neck bushings and a competition seating die with the bullet-retaining window and micrometer-adjustable stem.
Yes—the micrometer-adjustable seating stem allows you to dial in the exact seating depth you need for your bullets and your load specifications.
