The PROOF BBL CF Blank Bolt .284 Sendero Light 22" 8.4 Twist carbon fiber barrel is a precision rifle barrel engineered for long-range hunters and precision shooters who refuse to compromise on weight or accuracy. This is a blank—ready for your gunsmith to thread and chamber—built on PROOF Research's proven carbon fiber construction. If you're running a lightweight bolt-action rifle platform and want a Sendero profile barrel that won't bog down your rig, this .284 option delivers the accuracy and durability of a match-grade barrel without the heft of traditional steel.
Carbon fiber barrels from PROOF Research have become the gold standard in the custom rifle world for a reason. The 22-inch Sendero Light profile holds its own on the bench while keeping weight down compared to heavier contours—critical when every ounce matters on a long backpack hunt or during a day of shooting matches. The 8.4 twist rate is optimized for the .284 Winchester caliber, providing stability across a wide range of bullet weights without introducing unnecessary stress. Because carbon fiber dissipates heat more efficiently than steel, sustained shooting sessions won't shift your point of impact, and the composite construction resists corrosion, dings, and scratches far better than bare metal.
This is a gunsmith-only purchase. You'll need a qualified shop to handle the threading and chambering work, but the precision starts here—with a blank that's been held to the accuracy standards PROOF is known for. If you're building a custom .284 rifle for long range or want the weight savings of carbon fiber without sacrificing rigidity or performance, this barrel is built to deliver.
