Pro-Shot
A dedicated chamber mop for 30 caliber AR-10 and LR-308 rifles, this Pro-Shot cleaning tool is built for shooters who want efficient bore maintenance without the hassle of running full-length patches through a tight chamber. The 100% cotton construction paired with a brass core makes quick work of chamber fouling and light lubrication—ideal whether you're cleaning after a weekend hunt, a day at the range, or between competitive rounds. Its 8 x 32 thread standard fits your existing cleaning rod setup, so there's no need to buy new hardware.
Pro-Shot has earned respect across the shooting world, from recreational hunters to competitive bench rest shooters and professional shooters who demand reliable, no-nonsense cleaning tools. A chamber mop fills a real gap in routine maintenance: it addresses buildup and residue in the chamber and around the bolt face—areas that benefit from targeted attention separate from full-bore cleaning. Cotton won't scratch or wear your chamber, and the brass core ensures durability and safe rod attachment.
If you run an AR-10 platform in 30 caliber or any rifle using the LR-308 cartridge, this is a practical addition to your cleaning kit. Swap it onto your rod in seconds, run it in and out of the chamber a few times, and you'll remove carbon and fouling that impacts accuracy and reliability. Pair it with your favorite bore solvent and you've got a fast, effective chamber maintenance routine.
| Caliber | 30 Caliber (.308) |
| Rifle Platform | AR-10 / LR-308 |
| Thread Size | 8 x 32 |
| Material | 100% Cotton with Brass Core |
| Type | Chamber Cleaning Mop |
Yes—the 8 x 32 thread is standard on most AR-10 and rifle cleaning rods. If your rod uses a different thread size, this mop won't fit; check your rod's thread specification before ordering.
A chamber mop is designed to clean and lightly lubricate the chamber and bolt face area without the aggressive scrubbing action of a brush. It's a finishing or maintenance step, not a deep scrub tool. A bore brush is used for the barrel itself.
Yes—the cotton construction works with standard firearms solvents and light oils for chamber cleaning and lubrication.
It's designed for 30 caliber AR-10 and LR-308 chambers, which share the same bore diameter. If your 30 caliber rifle uses a different thread or chamber design, verify compatibility before use.
