Nosler
The Nosler Model 48 Long Range Carbon in .33 Nosler is a lightweight, precision bolt-action rifle engineered for hunters and long-range shooters who refuse to compromise on accuracy or pack weight. Built around Nosler's custom Model 48 action and topped with a 26-inch PROOF Research carbon fiber-wrapped match-grade barrel, this rifle combines cutting-edge materials with traditional craftsmanship to deliver sub-MOA performance in a package that won't wear you down on the mountain.
What sets the Model 48 LR-Carbon apart is its barrel technology. PROOF's carbon fiber construction isn't just about shedding ounces—it's engineered to be stiffer and dissipate heat faster than conventional stainless steel, translating to more consistent accuracy shot after shot. The barrel threads to 5/8x24 (ready for a suppressor or muzzle brake) and is mated to a trued and faced receiver, then bedded in a Manners MCS-T Elite carbon fiber stock finished in Elite Midnight Camo. The Timney trigger with two-position safety rounds out the precision platform.
At 7 pounds, this rifle is built for backcountry hunters and mountain elk hunters where every ounce matters but performance cannot. The .33 Nosler cartridge delivers serious velocity and energy at extended ranges, and Nosler guarantees sub-MOA accuracy when fired with their prescribed ammunition. Whether you're glassing high country, shooting long-range competitions, or planning an overlanding hunt into remote terrain, the Model 48 Long Range Carbon is a premium tool for situations where range and weight are both concerns.
