Nosler
The Nosler 48 Long-Range Carbon rifle in 30 Nosler with a 26-inch barrel represents purpose-built precision for hunters and long-range shooters who refuse to compromise between accuracy and pack weight. This rifle pairs Nosler's proven Model 48 action with a PROOF Research carbon fiber-wrapped barrel—a combination that cuts weight without sacrificing the stiffness and heat management you need when taking shots that matter. At 7 pounds, it's light enough for backcountry hunts in steep country, yet engineered for the accuracy demands of extended-range work.
The 30 Nosler cartridge delivers serious velocity and energy downrange, making it a natural fit for mountain game and competitive long-range scenarios. Nosler guarantees sub-MOA accuracy when you run their prescribed ammunition, a claim backed by decades of ammunition and firearms development. The 1-10 twist barrel is optimized for the full range of modern 30 Nosler loads, giving you flexibility in bullet selection without chasing barrel life problems.
Build quality is uncompromised: the Model 48 receiver is trued and faced, bedded into a Manners MCS-T Elite carbon fiber stock in Elite Midnight Camo, and topped with a Timney trigger featuring a two-position safety. The action and bottom metal wear Cerakote in Sniper Grey. That 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts standard suppressors and brakes, so you can tailor the rifle to your setup. A hinged floorplate keeps loading fast and simple. At 48 inches overall with a 13.5-inch length of pull and modest comb and heel drops, it fits most shooters comfortably behind a scope.
This rifle speaks to serious hunters and competitors who've done the math: shed the ounces that don't matter, invest in the materials and engineering that do, and carry a rifle that shoots. Whether glassing high ridges or ringing steel at distance, the Nosler 48 Long-Range Carbon delivers.
