Maglula
Loading and unloading 9mm magazines by hand—especially in volume—wears you out and damages the feed lips that keep your rounds feeding reliably. The Maglula Magazine Loader & Unloader for Colt SMG & AR-15 9mm Luger is a purpose-built tool that takes the strain out of magazine prep and maintenance. Whether you're running suppressed 9mm carbine drills, breaking in a new Colt SMG, or cycling through practice ammo at the range, this loader lets you move faster and keep your magazines healthier.
Maglula has been making professional-grade magazine tools since 2001, and this loader is engineered to handle the specific geometry of 9mm Luger magazines for these platforms. It drastically reduces the physical effort required to fill or empty magazines, which matters when you're loading dozens of rounds or managing a collection of mags. By pressing rounds in rather than forcing them down by thumb, you avoid the repetitive strain and the micro-damage to feed lips that can eventually cause feeding hiccups.
The tool is built for serious shooters and armorers who understand that magazine longevity and reliability start with how you treat them. If you're putting real rounds downrange—whether in competition, training, hunting, or defensive work—this loader is a small investment that pays back every range trip. It saves time, saves your hands, and saves your magazines.
Yes—this tool is specifically designed for 9mm Luger magazines used in Colt SMG and AR-15 platforms.
Yes, it functions as both a loader and unloader, so you can use it to fill or empty your magazines.
The loader significantly reduces loading time compared to thumb-loading magazines manually, though exact speed will depend on your technique and familiarity with the tool.
No—by design, this tool protects magazine feed lips from the wear and deformation that occurs with repeated thumb-loading, which actually helps prevent feeding problems and extends magazine life.
