The Lee Challenger III Single Stage Press 40th Anniversary Pack with Breech Carb 3-Die Set for .44 Spl/.44 Mag is a complete, ready-to-reload kit built for handloaders who value durability, speed, and simplicity. This anniversary edition bundles Lee's iconic O-frame single stage press—the world's bestselling design—with a matched carbide 3-die set sized specifically for .44 Special and .44 Magnum, so you can start loading quality ammunition the same day it arrives.
The Challenger III's O-frame design delivers the strength and leverage you need for consistent pressure and reliable operation. The 4-inch opening gives your hand plenty of clearance, making the loading process less cramped and more comfortable. Priming happens fast with the Lee Lever Prime System—no tools, no fiddling, just smooth operation. Spent primers drop straight through the ram into a collection tube, keeping your workspace and press frame clean instead of scattering debris everywhere. The priming position is moved up front, eliminating the awkward stooping of older designs, and the ergonomic lever is shaped for hours of comfortable reloading.
The Breech Lock Quick Change system is the real time-saver here: swap dies with a twist of the wrist, and your die height stays locked in—no re-zeroing, no lost settings. The included 3-die set features colored Smart Lock bushings for quick visual identification, and everything you need comes in the box: carbide full-length sizing die, bullet seating die, powder-through expanding die, universal shell holder, powder dipper, and load data. Lee's all-steel linkage and adjustable lever mean this press handles serious volume without breaking stride.
If you reload .44 Special or .44 Magnum and want a workhorse press that doesn't demand constant tweaking, this 40th Anniversary Pack gets you loaded fast and keeps you loading long.
