Hornady
Precision rifle reloading starts with a quality full-length sizer die, and the Hornady Match Grade Full-Length Sizer Die for 7mm Rem Mag is built specifically for shooters who demand consistency. This .284" sizer die lets you take control of neck tension during resizing—a critical step if you're working toward tighter groups at distance. Rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach, the Hornady Match Grade system uses interchangeable self-centering neck size bushings, so you can dial in the exact fit for your brass without the risk of over-sizing case necks and accelerating brass fatigue.
Whether you're preparing ammunition for long-range hunting, precision rifle competitions, or just want to squeeze better accuracy from proven 7mm Rem Mag loads, this die gives you the control to match your brass profile to your specific rifle chamber. The interchangeable bushings mean you can fine-tune for different brass lots or fireformed rounds without buying multiple dies. Tight tolerances at the press translate directly into better concentricity and less run-out on finished rounds.
Hornady Match Grade dies are engineered for reloaders who understand that the small details—consistent neck sizing, minimal case working—add up to ammunition that shoots where you point it. If you're already optimizing brass, powder charge, and bullet selection, don't let your die setup be the weak link.
| Product Type | Full-Length Sizer Die |
| Caliber | 7mm Rem Mag |
| Bullet Diameter | .284" |
| Brand | Hornady |
| Line | Match Grade |
The Hornady Match Grade system uses interchangeable self-centering neck size bushings instead of a fixed sizing ring. This lets you control neck tension precisely and resize without over-working brass, which extends case life and promotes better concentricity in finished rounds.
This is a standard 7/8"-14 threaded die body, so it will work with any full-length sizer die station on a conventional reloading press. Check your press manual to confirm compatibility with your specific equipment.
The die ships with the sizing die body. Verify what bushings are included with your purchase, as interchangeable bushings may be ordered separately to fine-tune neck tension for different brass lots or fireformed rounds.
Hornady makes Match Grade full-length sizer dies for multiple rifle calibers. This specific die is sized for 7mm Rem Mag. Contact us or check the Hornady catalog if you need a different caliber.
