Hornady
The Hornady Match Grade Full-Length Sizer Die for .284 Winchester is built for reloaders who want repeatable precision without sacrificing brass longevity. Unlike standard full-length dies that can overwork case necks, this die uses interchangeable self-centering neck size bushings—a feature that gives you direct control over neck tension on every round. That control translates straight to the bench: tighter groups, longer brass life, and the consistency serious shooters depend on.
Full-length sizing is essential if you're loading for semi-automatic rifles, magazine-fed bolt actions, or any gun where headspace variation matters. The Match Grade design holds tight tolerances throughout the sizing stroke, which means your fired cases return to spec without the guesswork. Because the neck bushings are swappable, you can dial in the exact tension your .284 Win load demands—a level of tuning most shooters never get from a standard die.
This is the real workhorse for handloaders chasing sub-minute-of-angle groups or building ammunition for precision rifles. Whether you're preparing match rounds, hunting loads, or ammunition for your next range session, starting with a Match Grade full-length sizer die sets the foundation for ammunition that chambers smoothly and shoots to the same point every time.

| Die Type | Full-Length Sizer |
| Neck Bushing System | Interchangeable, self-centering |
| Grade | Match Grade |
Match Grade dies are manufactured to tighter tolerances and include interchangeable neck bushings. This lets you control how much you resize the case neck, preventing over-working the brass and allowing you to tune neck tension for your specific rifle and load. Standard dies resize the entire neck uniformly without that customization.
Yes. This is a standard full-length sizer die and will work in any reloading press configured for rifle dies, including single-stage, turret, and progressive presses.
The die ships with one neck bushing sized to .284". Additional bushings in different sizes are available separately from Hornady to allow you to adjust neck tension as needed.
Yes. The Match Grade design and tight tolerances make it ideal for building precision ammunition, whether for competition, long-range hunting, or accuracy testing on the range.
