Hornady
The Hornady XTP 32 Caliber .312 100 GR Hollow Point Bullets deliver the controlled expansion and deep penetration that have made this bullet a favorite among handloaders for decades. Whether you're crafting handgun loads for hunting, self-defense, or precision target work, the XTP's proven performance in the field and on the range makes it a natural choice for reloaders who demand consistency and reliability. Each box contains 100 bullets ready to load.
What sets the XTP apart is its engineering: a strategically designed hollow cavity and precisely machined serrations work together to initiate controlled expansion across a wide velocity range—even at the lower velocities typical of many handgun cartridges. The swaged core ensures uniform density throughout, which means balanced, predictable expansion and better in-flight stability. Rather than relying on uniform jacket thickness, Hornady varies the jacket thickness along the bullet's length to manage expansion in a way that plated bullets simply can't match.
The gilding metal jacket is drawn—not plated—and protects the bullet's nose, so the hollow point cavity performs as designed on impact and feeds reliably in semi-automatic firearms. The cannelure on revolver bullets helps you achieve precise, consistent crimping for handloads that perform the way you intend.
| Caliber | 32 (.312 diameter) |
| Weight | 100 grains |
| Type | Hollow Point |
| Count | 100 bullets |
| Jacket Material | Drawn gilding metal |
The .312 diameter makes these bullets suitable for 32 ACP, 32 H&R Magnum, and other 32-caliber handgun cartridges. Always consult your reloading manual to confirm compatibility with your specific cartridge and to find safe load data.
Yes. The XTP's controlled serration design and hollow point geometry are engineered to initiate reliable expansion even at the lower velocity ranges typical of many handgun loads, which is one reason they've become popular across a wide range of handgun applications.
Yes. The jacket design protects the hollow point nose and ensures reliable feeding in semi-automatics without deformation or feed-related issues.
Yes. The cannelure is applied before the final forming process, which helps you achieve consistent, accurate crimping on revolver loads and eliminates distortion to the finished bullet.
