Henry Repeating Arms
The Henry Big Boy Side Gate X Model .357 Magnum lever action rifle brings modern versatility to a classic American platform. Built on Henry's proven Big Boy action, this compact rifle chambers .357 Magnum and .38 Special, making it ideal for hunters and sport shooters who want a handy, hard-hitting rifle that doesn't sacrifice capacity or convenience. The side gate loading system—a significant upgrade from traditional tube-fed lever guns—lets you top off the magazine quickly without cycling the action, a real advantage in the field or at the range. At 7.3 pounds and just 36.3 inches overall, it's nimble enough to handle tight terrain while the 17.4-inch round blued barrel delivers the velocity and accuracy you need for medium-range hunting and varmint work.
This rifle is built for shooters who appreciate modern conveniences without abandoning the soul of a lever gun. The black synthetic pistol-grip stock with a 14-inch length of pull gives you a secure, ergonomic hold, and the solid rubber recoil pad tames the .357's mild report. Fiber optic sights front and rear come standard, offering quick target acquisition in low light—no batteries required. The threaded barrel accepts suppressors or muzzle devices, opening options for quiet hunting or range work. Large loop lever ensures smooth, fast cycling even with gloved hands, while M-Lok and Picatinny rail sections let you mount accessories exactly where you need them.
Henry drilled and tapped the receiver for scope mounting, so if open sights aren't your style, the included BB-RSM mount gets you behind glass in minutes. The transfer bar safety is reliable and intuitive. Whether you're hunting hogs, deer, or varmints, or simply putting rounds downrange, the Big Boy Side Gate X delivers the blend of tradition and practicality that makes lever guns enduringly popular among hunters and enthusiasts who refuse to compromise.
