Faxon Firearms
The Faxon Firearms FX7 bolt action prefit barrel in .308 Winchester is engineered specifically for builders working with the FX7 action, eliminating the guesswork and machine work typically required when fitting an aftermarket barrel. This 22-inch M24 contour barrel arrives ready to thread onto your FX7 receiver with precision tolerances already dialed in—no reaming, no headspace hunting, just accurate, repeatable performance out of the box. Built from 416-R stainless steel and finished in salt bath nitride, it's tough enough for hard use in the field and durable enough for countless range sessions.
Faxon's 5R button rifling and honed-and-lapped bore combine for smooth powder burning and easy cleaning without sacrificing accuracy. The 1:10 twist rate handles a wide range of .308 loads, from lighter varmint rounds to heavy match-grade ammunition. The recessed target crown protects the muzzle during handling and shooting, while the 5/8x24 threading gives you flexibility with suppressors and muzzle devices. Every barrel undergoes magnetic particle inspection to catch surface defects before it ships.
Whether you're assembling a precision long-range rifle, a hunting build, or a dedicated target gun, a prefit barrel saves time and eliminates the cost and hassle of professional gunsmithing. If you're already committed to the FX7 platform, this barrel is a no-compromise way to ensure proper fit and function from the start.
