EGW
The EGW Tikka T3X Tac A1 1-piece Picatinny base delivers a solid, integrated mounting solution for shooters looking to run long-range setups on their Tikka rifles. Unlike two-piece mounts that can shift, a one-piece base anchors your scope directly to the receiver in a single, rigid unit—a design favored by hunters and tactical shooters who demand consistency shot after shot. The 20 MOA built-in elevation lets you push your effective range out to 500–1000 yards without maxing out your scope's internal adjustment, so you keep your reticle in the sweet spot of the optic's adjustment range where precision counts.
EGW manufactures this mount in-house, then tumbles, sand blasts, and applies Type III anodize for a finish that stands up to hard field use and weather. The full-length Picatinny rail gives you flexibility to position scope rings and accessories exactly where you want them, and it's compatible with either Picatinny or Weaver rings. All fasteners and components, down to the wrench and packaging, are made in the USA. Installation does require removing the factory mount—which sits under the handguard and involves accessing a front screw—so having a qualified gunsmith handle the job is the smart move. EGW specs 20 inch-pounds of torque and a drop of blue Loctite (sold separately) during install, and recommends zeroing at 200 yards to maximize the benefit of the 20 MOA slope.
If you're upgrading a Tikka T3X Tac A1 and want a bulletproof base for a modern hunting or tactical scope, this one-piece design eliminates the variables that come with piecing together separate components.

Yes. The Picatinny rail is compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings, giving you flexibility in ring selection.
The 20 MOA built-in elevation angle is designed for long-range shooting between 500–1000 yards. It shifts your zero point so you can use more of your scope's internal adjustment range and hold your reticle in the middle of the adjustment curve where precision is best. EGW recommends zeroing at 200 yards when using a 20 MOA mount.
EGW recommends having a competent, qualified gunsmith install the mount. The original Tikka mount sits underneath the handguard and requires handguard removal and careful extraction before the EGW base can be fitted. Installation requires 20 inch-pounds of torque and blue Loctite applied to the fasteners.
The mount comes complete with mounting screws, a wrench, and all necessary components. Blue Loctite is sold separately.
