The EGW 10mm Auto 7-Hole Cartridge Checker is a precision gauging tool built to catch ammunition that's out of spec before it reaches your chamber. Whether you're shooting factory loads or running your own reloads, this checker gives you confidence that each round will chamber and fire safely and reliably. Machined from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in anodized matte black, it's built to last through years of serious handloaders' and shooters' work.

The heart of this tool is the use of actual Clymer reamers machined into each of the seven test holes. This means your ammunition is being checked against the same geometry your firearm's chamber demands—no guessing, no approximations. The checker measures both minimum case diameter and maximum overall length, the two critical dimensions that determine whether a round will feed, chamber, and function properly in your 10mm Auto gun.

Shooters and handloaders use cartridge checkers as a quality-control step before heading to the range or putting ammo in the field. A few seconds of verification can prevent jams, feeding problems, misfires, and the safety and performance headaches that come with out-of-spec rounds. It's especially valuable if you're developing loads or switching between firearms—chamber dimensions vary, and this tool lets you match ammunition to your specific gun.
