Daniel Defense
The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 6.5 Creedmoor semi-auto AR-10 rifle is built for shooters who demand precision at extended range without sacrificing the ergonomics and modularity they expect from the AR platform. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor—one of the most effective modern short-action cartridges for long-range work—this rifle leverages the superior ballistic efficiency of that round to deliver flatter trajectories and reduced wind drift compared to heavier, harder-recoiling alternatives. The result is genuine 1000-yard capability in a package that remains controllable and easy to shoot accurately in real-world conditions.
What sets the DD5 V5 apart is attention to the details that matter in the field. The adjustable gas block lets you tune reliability whether you're running suppressed or unsuppressed—a feature often overlooked but crucial for consistency across different loads and ammunition types. The cold hammer-forged barrel is chrome-lined and designed to hold accuracy through a lifetime of use. The bolt carrier group receives a superfinish and DLC coating that makes cleaning faster and function more reliable in all conditions, while the enhanced extractor geometry and dual ejectors ensure trouble-free feeding and extraction. Daniel Defense's proprietary 4-bolt connection system locks the upper to lower with greater rigidity, tightening groups and improving repeatability where it counts.
The rifle comes with a 15-inch DD5 M-LOK handguard for mounting optics, lights, and other accessories, a user-ambi charging handle with anti-gas design, and a 6-position adjustable stock so you can dial in your length of pull. It ships in a quality impact plastic case and accepts standard SR-25 magazines, giving you flexibility in magazine selection. Made in the USA, the DD5 V5 is the choice for hunters and precision rifle enthusiasts who want a semi-auto platform that performs at distance.
