Daniel Defense
The Daniel Defense DD5 V4 .308 Win semi-auto AR-10 rifle brings precision and reliability to long-range hunters and serious shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. Built on Daniel Defense's proven platform, this 18-inch barreled rifle delivers the ballistic performance and rugged durability that have made the DD5 a standout choice for those stretching shots beyond typical hunting distances. Whether you're ringing steel at the range or pursuing game at extended yardage, the DD5 V4 in .308 Winchester pairs classic caliber versatility with modern ergonomics and battle-tested components.
The heart of this rifle is a cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:11 twist rate optimized for .308 ammunition, housed in a free-floating design and finished with chrome lining for durability and ease of maintenance. The adjustable gas block lets you dial in reliable cycling whether you run it suppressed or unsuppressed—a feature that matters when your setup changes or your ammunition varies. Daniel Defense's proprietary bolt carrier group features a superfinished, DLC-coated finish that sheds fouling and resists corrosion; the enhanced extractor geometry and dual ejectors keep the gun running clean through high round counts.
The 15-inch DD5 rail provides ample real estate for optics, lights, and other mission-critical gear on the M-LOK mounting system. The ambi GRIP-N-RIP charging handle works from either side and includes anti-gas features for comfort and control. The lower receiver boasts an enhanced flared magazine well, a QD swivel attachment point, and is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized for lasting protection. Ships with a 20-round Magpul PMAG and a protective Daniel Defense impact case, and accepts all standard SR-25 magazines for maximum compatibility.
Made in the USA, the DD5 V4 combines proven AR platform familiarity with the flat-shooting, wind-bucking efficiency of .308 Winchester. At 8.6 pounds, it's light enough for a day in the field yet substantial enough to handle recoil and manage precision fire at distance.
