The Bog Inception XL backpack frame paired with the Helix 6000 bivy bag creates a versatile, lightweight hauling system built for western multi-day hunts where every ounce matters. This combo weighs just 5 lbs 11 oz, so you're not sacrificing precious pack-out capacity to gear weight. The carbon fiber Inception frame delivers rigid support without the bulk, while the quick-connect buckle system lets you run the full setup together or detach the frame and use it solo as a dedicated meat hauler—a flexibility that pays dividends on hunts where your needs shift between approach and harvest.
Construction throughout prioritizes durability and stealth in equal measure. The 420D micro-ripstop shell resists punctures and tears while staying quiet in the field, backed by YKK zippers and 150 lb rated buckles that handle repeated heavy pack-outs without failure. The Helix 6000 brings genuine utility: a removable 150D micro-ripstop rain cover keeps your load dry and quiet, a detachable gun/bow/DeathGrip carry boot frees your hands on approach, and a removable guide lid expands storage when you need it. Bottom-of-bag zip access saves you from unpacking everything to retrieve gear that's settled during the hike.
The frame itself features a padded hip belt with zippered pockets, adjustable sternum strap and load lifters for a locked-in fit, and a pliable meat shelf with compression straps to secure your pack-out. Four sets of compression straps and two rows of Hypalon-reinforced MOLLE give you serious gear attachment options, plus dedicated carry loops sized for DeathGrip tripods. The system is hydration-compatible up to 3-liter capacity, includes retractable bottle pockets for 32 oz bottles, and comes finished in OD green for blending into the landscape.
