Bergara
The Bergara B-14 Hunter 7mm rifle delivers Spanish-built accuracy and craftsmanship at a price serious hunters can actually afford. Built at Bergara's barrel factory and designed to bring custom-rifle quality to production hunting rifles, the B-14 Hunter pairs a Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel with the company's own proprietary two-lug action for reliable feeding and extraction. This 24-inch rifle in 7mm is lightweight at around 7.1–7.3 lbs and ready to head into the field or to the range without compromise.
The heart of the B-14 Hunter is Bergara's reputation for barrel accuracy. The Number 4 taper barrel is finished in Graphite Black Cerakote and built to the same standards that made Bergara a name in the custom rifle world. The action itself features a sliding plate extractor, coned bolt nose and breech for smooth chambering, and a Bergara Performance Trigger set at approximately 3 pounds—crisp and clean without needing tuning out of the box.
The stock is molded synthetic in a green base with tan and black flecking that works as tasteful camouflage in many hunting environments. Integral steel pillars are permanently molded into the stock during production, creating a rigid bedding platform that enhances accuracy without fussy gunsmithing. A SoftTouch coating over the synthetic gives the grip tacky purchase even in wet or cold conditions. The rifle ships factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 bases and rings, so mounting glass is straightforward. You can choose between a hinged floor plate or a detachable magazine setup; standard cartridges feed 4 rounds, magnum loads 3.
Whether you're hunting big game or putting rounds downrange to prepare for a season, the B-14 Hunter bridges the gap between custom craftsmanship and production-rifle price. This is a workhorse that doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is: a well-made, accurate, and uncomplicated rifle for hunters who value function over hype.
