Bergara
The Bergara B-14 Hunter Rifle in .300 Win Mag with a 24" barrel and green stock brings Spanish gunmaking craftsmanship to affordable, production-grade hunting rifles. Built at Bergara's barrel factory in Spain, this rifle strips away the marketing noise and focuses on what matters: accuracy, reliability, and build quality that punches well above its price tier. The .300 Win Mag chambering makes it a serious choice for hunters tackling big game at distance, while the 24" barrel strikes a practical balance between velocity and manageability in the field.
At its core sits Bergara's own B-14 action—a two-lug system engineered for smooth, reliable feeding and extraction. The sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose work together to ensure cartridges feed cleanly every time, while the Bergara Performance Trigger delivers a crisp, predictable break set at approximately three pounds from the factory. The barrel itself is Bergara's No. 4 profile 4140 CrMo steel, finished in Graphite Black Cerakote, and bedded into an American-style synthetic stock with integral steel pillars molded permanently in place for rock-solid stability and accuracy.
The green stock—finished with tan and black flecks for a tasteful camo appearance—features a SoftTouch coating that grips securely even when wet or cold. Weighing between 7.1 and 7.3 lbs, the B-14 Hunter stays light enough for a day in the mountains without sacrificing the inherent accuracy that comes from a properly bedded action and quality barrel. The rifle ships factory-drilled and tapped for Remington 700-style rings and bases, so mounting your optic is straightforward. You can choose between a traditional hinged floor plate or a detachable magazine setup; magazine capacity is four rounds for standard loads or three for magnum cartridges.
This is a hunter's rifle built by people who understand hunting—no unnecessary features, no marketing fluff, just the mechanical and material fundamentals that keep you in the game when it matters.
