Zerotech
The Zerotech Thrive 3-9x40 rifle scope is built for hunters and shooters who want reliable magnification and precision without the premium price tag. This 30mm tube scope pairs a simplified PHR III reticle with a second focal plane design, giving you the speed for snap shots on moving game alongside the precision setup needed for deliberate, longer-range work. It's the kind of straightforward optic that works just as hard in the field as you do—whether you're glassing from a ridge or taking a shot through thick timber.
Built to handle the backcountry, the Thrive features Zerotech's weathershield lens coating to shed water and protect glass in wet conditions. A soft neoprene cover comes in the box to shield the scope in your pack or truck bed, and the capped turrets stay put unless you intentionally dial them. At 3-9x magnification with a 40mm objective, this is a versatile hunting scope that doesn't demand you choose between close-range and mid-distance targets—it covers both.
The PHR III reticle draws from over 50 years of Zerotech optics heritage. Unlike more complex reticles, the PHR III strips away unnecessary detail while keeping the holdover references hunters actually use. Quarter-minute turrets let you dial in elevation and windage without guessing, and the second focal plane design means the reticle size stays consistent regardless of magnification—a straightforward advantage when you're moving fast between shooting distances.

On this SFP scope, the reticle size stays the same no matter what magnification you're at. That means your reticle-based holdovers only work at the specific magnification they're calibrated for (usually marked on the scope). The tradeoff is simplicity and reliability—you dial your turrets and trust them, rather than having to calculate holdovers across a range of magnifications.
The 3-9 magnification range is a workhorse for most hunting. At 3x you've got a wide field of view and quick target acquisition for timber and brush, and at 9x you can reach out to moderate distances and glass distant country. The 40mm objective is a solid balance—enough light gathering for low-light hunts without adding unnecessary weight or bulk.
The 30mm tube is the industry standard and will fit any modern rifle with rings and mounts designed for 30mm tubes. Verify your rifle's rail or mount is compatible with 30mm rings before ordering.
You get the scope, a soft neoprene cover for protection, an instruction manual with reticle range chart so you can understand your holdovers, and a quality microfiber cloth for lens care.
