Built around a robust 1.5mm receiver and bulged trunnion, this 21-inch ribbed barrel rifle delivers the accuracy and durability that have made the RPK platform a favorite among shooters and hunters worldwide. If you're looking for a no-nonsense, battle-proven rifle in 7.62x39 with the stability of an integrated bipod and the solid feel of wood furniture, the M72 is a compelling choice for range work, hunting, or recreational shooting.
What sets the M72 apart from modern tactical rifles is its straightforward engineering and proven track record. The wood furniture gives it a classic appearance while the factory-installed bipod eliminates the need for additional purchases and ensures proper integration with the rifle's design. The 7.62x39 cartridge remains one of the most practical and affordable centerfire options available, making the M72 economical to shoot without sacrificing power or reliability. The 30-round magazine capacity means fewer reloads downrange, whether you're running drills at the range or hunting larger game.
Zastava Arms has built their reputation on manufacturing Balkan-designed rifles that prioritize durability over frills. The M72's ribbed barrel helps manage heat during extended shooting sessions, while the sturdy receiver and trunnion design promise years of reliable operation.
