Zastava Arms
The Zastava Arms LK M85 7.62x39mm bolt-action rifle is a modern sporting interpretation of the classic Mauser-pattern design, built for shooters who value proven reliability and mechanical simplicity. Chambered in 7.62x39mm—a practical, widely available intermediate cartridge—the M85 pairs traditional operating principles with modern manufacturing and a clean, purposeful aesthetic. Whether you're looking for a dependable rifle for hunting, target shooting, or simply rounding out a collection with a well-engineered bolt gun, this Zastava delivers accuracy and durability without unnecessary complexity.
The 20-inch barrel is cold-forged from chrome-vanadium steel, a time-tested approach that Zastava has refined over decades to balance precision and longevity. The rifle feeds from a 6-round capacity magazine, making it efficient for both hunting and range work. A lever-type safety provides straightforward, instinctive operation, and the two-stage trigger (available in standard or DAT configuration) breaks cleanly for accurate shooting. The blued metal finish is paired with high-grade walnut in a Monte Carlo stock profile, creating a rifle that looks as good as it handles.
Iron sights come standard, giving you a functional aiming solution out of the box; the receiver is threaded to accept optional optics bases if you want to mount a scope. Sling swivels are integrated, and the rubber recoil pad absorbs impulse without fuss. This is the kind of rifle that rewards careful marksmanship and rewards it consistently—a no-frills, honest tool built by a maker with decades of experience in bolt-action rifle design.
