The XS Sights F8 Night Sights for Sig P320/P225/P226/P229 and Springfield XD/XDm/XDs handguns bring purpose-built sight acquisition to your carry or duty gun in any light. Built around a large, high-contrast front sight that trains your eye where it needs to be, the F8 system pairs a generous notch rear sight with an oversize post up front—a geometry proven to speed target acquisition from low light to bright sun. This is the working shooter's answer to faster, more reliable sight picture alignment.

The F8 uses green tritium in both front and rear sights to glow in darkness without batteries or charging, while an orange ring encircling the front sight pops in daylight and stays visible through dusk. That ring contains photoluminescent material that soaks up ambient light and glows when the sun drops, giving you a sight picture whether you're shooting at midnight or in a dim indoor range. The rear sight's design reflects glare downward, away from your eye, reducing the washout you get from harsh angles. A shallow ledge on the rear gives you a purchase point for one-handed slide manipulation if you ever need it.

Installation is straightforward—hand pressure or a sight pusher tool will do it—and the F8 profile fits standard holsters without modification. Whether you're running Sig or Springfield, this sight system trades mall-ninja flash for honest-to-goodness night sight function and ergonomic front-sight focus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the XS F8 sights fit my Sig P320 and Springfield XD?

Yes. The F8 is designed to fit Sig P320, P229, P228, P226, and P225 pistols, as well as Springfield XD, XDM, XDS, and XDE models. Verify your exact firearm model before ordering.

Do these night sights glow in complete darkness?

The green tritium in both front and rear sights will glow in low light and darkness without any charging or exposure to light. The orange outline on the front sight contains photoluminescent particles that absorb ambient light during the day and will glow when light levels drop, but tritium provides the primary low-light visibility.

What's included, and can I install these myself?

The XS F8 sights can be installed by hand using thumb pressure or with a sight pusher tool—no gunsmith required for basic installation. Check the specific product listing to confirm what's included in your order.

Will these sights fit in my existing holster?

Yes. The F8 profile is designed to fit standard holsters without modification, so your current carry or duty holster should work.
