The Warne Tactical 1-Piece Base Matte for Remington Long Action is a precision scope mount base built for shooters who demand rock-solid accuracy and durability. If you're running a Remington 700 long action rifle and need a foundation for serious long-range or tactical work, this single-piece steel base delivers the kind of rigid platform that doesn't shift or settle once you send rounds downrange.

What sets this base apart is the 20 MOA elevation taper built into the casting. That taper angles your scope slightly upward, giving you additional elevation adjustment room without burning through your turret clicks—ideal if you're stretching shots past 300 yards or need the extra vertical travel to dial for distance. The base is machined from solid cold-drawn steel and finished in a non-reflective matte that keeps you off a distant spotting scope. Construction is built to Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail dimensions, so compatibility and mounting are straightforward and repeatable.

Warne has a solid reputation for making no-nonsense scope bases that hold zero. This one-piece design is stiffer than split-ring systems and eliminates the variables that come with assembling separate components. Whether you're building a precision hunting rig, a tactical carbine, or a long-range range gun, this base gives you a proven anchor for your optic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Remington 700 actions does this base fit?

This base is engineered for Remington 700 long action rifles.

What does the 20 MOA taper do?

The 20 MOA elevation taper tilts your scope slightly upward, giving you additional elevation adjustment range. This is especially useful for long-range shooting where you need more vertical turret travel without running out of clicks.

Why choose a one-piece base over a two-piece?

A one-piece design is more rigid and eliminates the potential for movement between separate components. It provides a more stable, repeatable platform for precision shooting.

Is this compatible with Picatinny rail rings?

Yes, this base is built to Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail dimensions, so it's compatible with standard Picatinny rail-mounted scope rings.
