Vz Grips
The Vz Grips 1911 Government Hydra grips in black deliver a confident, no-slip grip for full-size 1911 pistols. Built from tough G-10 material, these grips feature a deep, undulating texture that provides aggressive traction without sharp edges that dig into your hands during extended shooting sessions. Whether you're running your 1911 for target practice, competition stages, or keeping a safe queen looking sharp, the Hydra pattern offers the control you need with a professional appearance.
Compatibility is straightforward: these grips are engineered to fit all popular full-size (Government or Commander) 1911 models, including Colt, Springfield Armory, Kimber, Les Baer, and Dan Wesson platforms. The design accommodates ambidextrous safeties, making installation simple on most setups. At just over 2 ounces, they won't noticeably shift the balance of your pistol.
The Hydra texture's depth and scale are specifically designed to showcase the layered character of G-10, giving the black finish a dimensioned look that stands out from flat, featureless grip panels. The material itself is renowned for durability—it won't wear smooth, won't absorb moisture, and handles years of hard use without degrading. If your current grips are slick or uncomfortable during rapid fire, or if you simply want to upgrade the look and feel of your 1911, the Vz Hydra is a straightforward, affordable upgrade.
