Viridian
The Viridian Lyxa rifle scope 3-12x44 brings a solid, no-frills optic to hunters and shooters who need reliable magnification without breaking the bank. Built on a 1-inch tube with second focal plane (SFP) geometry, this scope delivers edge-to-edge clarity through fully multi-coated HD lenses designed to maximize light transmission in field conditions. The MOA BDC reticle supports precision shooting across a practical hunting and mid-range distance band, while the non-illuminated design keeps things simple and dependable.
Viridian engineered the Lyxa to handle the bumps and weather of serious field use. Nitrogen purging seals the optic against internal fogging, and zero reset turrets let you dial quick adjustments for windage and elevation without guessing. This is the kind of scope that works when you need it to—no unnecessary features, just glass and mechanics built for the job.
Whether you're glassing from a stand, dialing in at the range, or laying down shots across broken terrain, the Lyxa 3-12x44 fits hunters and shooters who value toughness and optical performance in a compact, lightweight package.
| Magnification | 3–12x |
| Objective Lens Diameter | 44mm |
| Tube Diameter | 1 inch |
| Focal Plane | Second Focal Plane (SFP) |
| Reticle Type | MOA BDC |
| Reticle Illumination | Non-illuminated |
| Lens Coating | Fully multi-coated HD |
| Sealing | Nitrogen-purged |
| Finish | Black |
| Manufacturer | Viridian Weapon Technologies |
The Lyxa 3-12x44 is built around the principle of doing one job well: delivering a clear, tough optic at a reasonable price point. The multi-coated HD lenses and nitrogen purging ensure brightness and weather resistance, while the zero reset turrets make adjustments fast and repeatable. It's not loaded with gadgets—just solid glass and mechanics for hunters and shooters who want reliability over frills.
Yes. The 3-12x magnification range covers most hunting situations, from close-range brush work at 3x to mid-distance precision at 12x. The MOA BDC reticle supports holdover shooting, and the 44mm objective gathers enough light for early-morning and late-evening hunts.
SFP stands for Second Focal Plane. In this design, the reticle size stays the same relative to your eye regardless of magnification, but the reticle subtensions (the holdover marks) only work accurately at the scope's highest magnification setting. For hunting and most practical shooting, SFP is simple and straightforward.
No. The Lyxa is nitrogen-purged, which means the air inside the scope is replaced with dry nitrogen gas before sealing. This prevents moisture from building up and fogging the interior optics, even in damp or temperature-swinging conditions.
