Uncle Mikes
The Uncle Mike's 18032 Mag Cap Swivel Set keeps your shotgun rig secure and ready for the field. Built around a quick-detach design with a 1" loop, this swivel pair mounts directly to your Remington 11-87 12-gauge using the magazine cap attachment point—a proven mounting location that doesn't require gunsmithing or permanent modification. Uncle Mike's swivels are purpose-built for hunters who need their gun stable on a sling without fuss or failure.
Constructed from blued A3 steel, these swivels are engineered to handle the recoil and rough handling that come with hunting. The two-piece set gives you flexibility: run both on your shotgun, use one as a spare, or outfit multiple guns in your battery. Quick detach means you can disconnect the sling in seconds when you need the gun free, then reattach just as fast once you're moving between spots.
If you've ever had a cheap swivel fail mid-hunt, or spent time drilling and tapping a receiver for permanent mounts, you'll appreciate the simplicity and durability here. The mag cap design is non-invasive—your 11-87 remains exactly as Remington built it, and the swivel can be removed entirely if you ever want to sell or trade the gun clean. For shotgunners who demand reliable gear that won't let them down, this is a no-nonsense choice.
| Model | Uncle Mike's 18032 |
| Finish | Blued steel |
| Material | A3 steel |
| Loop Size | 1" |
| Attachment Type | Quick detach, mag cap mount |
| Quantity | Two swivels per set |
| Firearm Fit | Remington 11-87 12-gauge |
This swivel is specifically designed to mount to the magazine cap of the Remington 11-87 12-gauge. Mounting on other shotgun models would require them to have a compatible mag cap design, which varies by gun. Confirm your firearm's magazine cap before ordering.
The quick-detach design allows you to rapidly connect and disconnect the swivel from the magazine cap mount without tools. This lets you remove the sling entirely when stalking or moving through tight cover, then reattach it once you're settled in a stand or blind.
The set includes two swivels, giving you flexibility. You can use both on the same shotgun (one forward, one rear) or use a single swivel depending on your sling setup. The spare can serve as a replacement or outfit a second gun.
No. The mag cap mount is non-invasive and requires no drilling, tapping, or permanent alterations to the gun. The swivel can be removed anytime without leaving marks, and the 11-87 retains its original condition and value.
