The TruGlo Tritium Pro TG231Z1W night sights deliver self-illuminating tritium dots for pistol shooting in low-light and dark conditions without requiring batteries or external charging. Built on the success of TruGlo's original tritium sights but enhanced with Pro-level features, these green tritium front and rear sights with white outlines are engineered for shooters who need reliable target acquisition when daylight fades or tactical situations demand darkness operation.
What sets the Tritium Pro apart is its practical design for real-world carry and duty use. The front sight includes a FOCUS-LOCK ring that speeds up sight picture acquisition, while the U-notch rear sight geometry is straightforward and fast to align. For emergencies, the angled rear sight edge enables one-hand operation—critical if your support hand is occupied or injured. The snag-resistant profile fits standard holsters, so you're not shopping for new carry gear.
Construction emphasizes durability and brightness. TruGlo assembles these sights in the USA using quality Swiss tritium, which provides maximum nighttime visibility and maintains that glow indefinitely—tritium has a roughly 12-year half-life, so these sights will outshine cheaper alternatives for years of carry. The FORTRESS FINISH provides a permanent protective coating against wear, corrosion, and the everyday abuse that defensive and hunting pistols endure.

The TruGlo Tritium Pro TG231Z1W is compatible with standard dovetail sight mounts used on most modern pistols. However, firearm sight compatibility varies by model. Before ordering, verify that your pistol accepts standard tritium sights and confirm the correct dovetail width (typically .156") for your specific firearm. When in doubt, consult your pistol's manual or contact our team to confirm fit.
No. The TruGlo Tritium Pro sights use Swiss tritium, which is self-illuminating and glows continuously in darkness. There are no batteries to replace, no light exposure required, and no charging needed. The tritium maintains its glow for approximately 12 years, after which the brightness gradually diminishes over time.
Yes. The rear sight features an angled edge designed to enable emergency one-hand operation, allowing you to rack the slide or manipulate the firearm with a single hand if your support hand is unavailable or injured.
The product includes the front and rear tritium night sights. Installation typically requires a sight pusher tool and gunsmith expertise; Bosque Outdoors recommends professional installation to ensure proper alignment and function.
