The Troy Industries Quick Detach Receiver Sling Adapter in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) is a no-nonsense mounting solution for shooters who want fast, secure sling attachment without trips to the gunsmith. This QD receiver sling adapter slides directly over your collapsible stock buffer tube and locks down with a simple hex key—no drilling, no permanent modifications. If you're running an AR platform rifle and need reliable sling mounting that works ambidextrously, this is the kind of straightforward hardware that earns trust on the range and in the field.

Troy built this adapter from solid aluminum with reinforced stress points, so it won't twist, flex, or bend under the weight and movement of daily use or hard shooting. The design indexes to your upper receiver to keep the buffer tube from rotating unexpectedly, and the beveled and rounded edges won't snag on your sling or gear as you move. The hardcoat anodized finish provides serious durability and resists wear—that FDE color matches modern tactical and hunting builds while keeping a professional, non-reflective appearance.

The integrated stainless steel QD swivel rotates a full 360 degrees and sports a non-reflective black finish, so you get smooth, silent movement whether you're transitioning between positions or adjusting your carry. Installation takes minutes and requires nothing more than the included hex key wrench. If you're building or upgrading an AR and want a sling adapter that's tough, quick to install, and genuinely ambidextrous, Troy's design cuts out the complexity.

Yes. The design provides secure, ambidextrous attachment for push-button QD sling swivels, so it works equally well for left- and right-handed shooters.
