The Troy Industries SSQD Push Button Quick Detach Sling Swivel is a field-proven attachment point for hunters, shooters, and tactical users who need a reliable, no-fuss way to connect rifle slings. Built from stainless steel and finished in black, this quick detach swivel combines rugged durability with a safety-first design—the raised cup around the push button shields it from brush, gear, and accidental snags that could trigger an unintended release. If you're running a hunting rifle, patrol gun, or precision build where your sling needs to stay put until you actively decide to remove it, the SSQD delivers honest, dependable performance.

Quick detach swivels live at the intersection of speed and security. The push-button release lets you decouple your sling in seconds when you need both hands free or want to swap to a different carry system. But the raised guard means that speed is never at the expense of security—you won't lose your sling to a snag on brush, a rough vehicle mount, or the chaos of the field. The stainless construction resists corrosion, so whether you're hunting wet timber, running desert stages, or storing the rifle in a vehicle, the swivel won't degrade or seize.

Troy's reputation in the tactical and hunting communities rests on gear that works without drama. The SSQD fits that mold: it's a simple, honest piece that solves a real problem—how to attach a sling securely and release it when you choose—without overthinking it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this quick detach swivel fit my rifle's existing sling attachment point?

The SSQD is designed as a universal quick detach swivel for standard sling mounts. Verify that your rifle or sling system uses a compatible quick detach interface before purchasing.

What's the advantage of the raised cup around the push button?

The raised cup acts as a guard to prevent the push button from being accidentally pressed by brush, gear, or contact during field use. You retain instant manual release when you need it, but won't lose your sling to an unintended snag.

Is stainless steel overkill for a sling swivel?

For hunters and shooters who leave rifles in trucks, pack them in wet conditions, or use them in harsh environments, stainless steel resists corrosion and won't seize or degrade over years of exposure. It's a practical choice, not a luxury one.
