The Trijicon HD Night Sight Set for HK 45C, P30, and VP9 is a three-dot tritium night sight upgrade built for shooters who need reliable target acquisition in low light or darkness. These steel sights deliver a proven aiming solution trusted by law enforcement and serious pistol competitors. Each sight element contains tritium that glows independently—no batteries, no maintenance, no excuses when the light disappears.

The HD designation means Trijicon engineered these for faster sight picture acquisition across all lighting conditions. The green tritium provides strong contrast whether you're shooting in full daylight or pitch black, and the distributed light design ensures even visibility from all usable angles. Steel construction with a matte finish handles recoil, heavy cleaning solvents, and the general abuse that comes with serious use.

These are drop-in replacements for H&K's polymer iron sights—no gunsmithing required on compatible models. If you carry or train with an HK 45C, P30, or VP9, switching to tritium night sights is one of the most practical upgrades you can make. You get the same mechanical reliability as your factory sights, but with active illumination that works when iron sights usually don't.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these night sights fit my HK pistol?

Yes, these are direct replacements for the HK 45C, P30, and VP9. They install in place of factory iron sights without modifications.

Do tritium night sights require batteries?

No. Tritium is a self-luminous isotope that glows continuously without batteries or charging. It requires no maintenance or activation.

What's the difference between night sights and standard iron sights?

Night sights use tritium to provide active illumination in darkness and low light, making them visible when ambient light is too low for normal iron sights. In daylight, the tritium dots are smaller and sharper, improving precision while maintaining the 3-dot sight picture.

How long does tritium stay bright?

Tritium has a half-life of about 12 years, meaning the brightness gradually decreases over time. After that period, the sights remain mechanical backups but lose active illumination.
