Thompson Center
The Thompson Center Extended Super Jag is a purpose-built cleaning tool for 50-caliber muzzleloaders, particularly the ENCORE and TRIUMPH platforms. This 4-inch brass jag threads onto any ramrod with 10-32 threads, adding length and function to your cleaning rod. If you're running modern in-line or traditional muzzleloaders and need reliable patch contact during bore cleaning, this jag delivers the solid construction and design details that keep fouling removal efficient and your bore in prime condition.
Built from solid brass, the Extended Super Jag features a knurled body that grips your patch firmly against the bore walls—no slipping, no uneven cleaning. The concave tip does double duty: it holds your cleaning patch securely, and it's shaped to assist with bullet seating during loading. The long stepped shank keeps patches from bunching or binding as you work the rod in and out, a practical feature that speeds up cleaning sessions and reduces frustration.
Whether you're prepping for a hunt, breaking in a new barrel, or maintaining your rifle between range trips, this jag handles the job without fuss. Thompson Center designed it with muzzleloader shooters in mind, so every detail—from the thread compatibility to the brass material—reflects real field use rather than generic aftermarket assumptions.

Yes. The concave design serves both cleaning and loading—you can use it to start and seat projectiles in addition to holding patches during bore cleaning.
