Taylors & Company
The Taylors & Company Short Stroke Smoke Wagon is a purpose-built single-action .45 LC revolver engineered for competitive shooters and serious wheelgun enthusiasts who demand more than a stock affair. With its 5.5-inch barrel and Smoke Wagon hammer profile, this revolver strikes a balance between traditional aesthetics and modern shooting ergonomics—favored by competitors who value speed without sacrificing control.
This .45 LC revolver comes dressed in a deep blue finish with a color case-hardened frame, a combination that looks as good on the range as it does in a leather holster. The checkered walnut grip provides a solid purchase and helps tame recoil, though Taylors offers an optional Army-style Gunfighter grip for shooters who prefer a larger hand platform. The widened sight channel and front blade give you a clear, fast sight picture when every millisecond counts in the match arena.
Whether you're running the standard version or stepping up to the Taylor Tuned model, you're getting a revolver built to perform. The Taylor Tuned variant adds the refinement serious competitors expect: custom action tuning, hand-fitted hammer and base pin springs, a crisp 3-pound trigger break, jig-cut angles on all sear surfaces, and a wire bolt spring. The result is one of the smoothest single-action trigger systems available, with the reliability you need when the clock is running.
