Taurus
The Taurus G3 Full Size 9mm pistol delivers practical, reliable performance in a proven polymer-frame package built for shooters who want dependable accuracy without unnecessary complications. This full-size 9mm carries 15 rounds, making it a solid choice for home defense, range training, or everyday carry backup—anywhere you need a capable striker-fired pistol that handles like it costs twice the price. The grip features substantial stippling patches that lock your hand in place under recoil, while an ergonomic palm swell and side-frame Memory Pads encourage consistent, repeatable hand positioning shot after shot.
The ergonomics are where the G3 really shines. Controls are positioned exactly where your thumb naturally sits—the manual safety, slide release, and slide stop all fall to hand without adjustment or conscious reach. The integrated Picatinny rail under the barrel lets you mount a light or laser without permanent modification. Sights are simple fixed steel: a white-dot front and serrated rear drift adjustable for zero. Nothing fancy, but everything you need.
The trigger is the surprise element here. Taurus engineered a 6-pound break with smooth take-up and a crisp, clean separation that outperforms typical striker-fired triggers. The short reset promotes fast, controlled follow-ups, and the restrike capability means a second strike on a stubborn round if needed. Build quality is solid—stainless steel slide and barrel in matte finish over a black polymer frame. The pistol ships with two 15-round magazines, so you're ready to run drills immediately.
If you're looking for a full-size 9mm duty or defensive pistol that prioritizes ergonomics and reliability over hype, the G3 is worth a serious look. It's the kind of gun that works and gets out of your way.
