Taurus
The Taurus G3 full-size 9mm pistol is a no-nonsense carry and range gun built on a proven polymer-frame platform that balances ergonomics, shootability, and reliability. This 4-inch barrel model comes in black polymer with a matte stainless steel slide and barrel—a practical, durable finish that resists corrosion without the glare of polished chrome. At 24.83 ounces unloaded and 7.28 inches overall, it's substantial enough to run reliably but compact enough for strong waistband carry or range bag duty. Whether you're breaking in a new EDC gun or stocking a reliable 9mm for sport shooting, the G3 delivers the ergonomics and controls that make consistent shooting natural.
The grip is where the G3 shows its design maturity. Generous stippling across the frame provides genuine purchase in wet or gloved conditions, and the integrated palm swell guides your hand into a repeatable shooting position every time you draw. Taurus added side-frame Memory Pads to reinforce that positive hand placement without requiring thought—especially useful under stress or in low light. The Picatinny rail opens the door to modern accessories: lights, lasers, or alternative sighting systems. Above the thumb, the manual safety and slide release lever sit exactly where your hand naturally lives, so manipulation is quick and confident.
The trigger is the centerpiece of the shooting experience, and Taurus equipped the G3 with a 6-pound pull designed for precision. The take-up is smooth, the break is crisp and clean, and the short reset promotes fast, controlled follow-up shots—all hallmarks of a well-tuned striker-fired design. Fixed white-dot front and serrated steel rear sights are standard; the rear sight is drift-adjustable, letting you dial in zero at your preferred distance. A loaded chamber indicator and striker block provide foolproof safety confirmation, while the single-action, re-strike mechanism means every trigger pull is predictable. Two magazines are included to get you running immediately.

At 7.28 inches long and 5.20 inches tall, it's a full-frame pistol; for pocket or ankle carry, a compact or subcompact would be a better fit. That said, the G3's full-size grip and natural controls make it an excellent strong-side belt holster gun for anyone prioritizing shootability and capacity.
The G3 includes a manual safety lever positioned above the thumb for intuitive operation, a loaded chamber indicator to confirm a round is chambered, a trigger safety to prevent accidental discharge, and a striker block to prevent discharge if the gun is dropped or struck. The single-action, re-strike design ensures consistent ignition on every trigger pull.
The integrated Picatinny rail under the barrel allows you to attach lights, lasers, or other rail-mounted accessories. The pistol ships with fixed iron sights; an optic mount for the slide would require aftermarket installation.
Two 10-round magazines are included with this model.
