The Talley Lightweight 2-Piece Scope Mount with Integral 30mm Rings is a solid, no-frills mounting solution built for lever-action hunters who want a clean, low-profile setup on their Marlin Model 336. This two-piece base-and-ring combo is machined from aluminum and anodized black, giving you a durable finish that handles field use without drawing extra weight. If you're running a 30mm scope tube and want to keep your sight line closer to the barrel—useful for hunting in brush or from a truck window—the low-profile rings do exactly that.
Talley has been making scope mounts for decades with a reputation for simplicity and reliability. This mount is straightforward: it shows up ready to install, with integral rings that eliminate the separate ring-purchase guessing game. The two-piece design spreads load across the receiver, which is the proven way to keep zero consistent through years of shooting and hunting.
This is the kind of mount that works best for hunters who already know their rifle and optic combination and just need a dependable way to connect them. If you run a lever-action .336 or similar platform and prefer function over fancy adjustments, this gets the job done without fanfare.

| Mount Type | 2-Piece base and integral rings |
| Scope Tube Diameter | 30mm |
| Ring Profile | Low |
| Material | Aluminum |
| Finish | Black anodized |
| Rifle Compatibility | Marlin Model 336 |
Yes. This mount is designed specifically for the Marlin Model 336 lever-action receiver.
The integral rings are built for 30mm scope tubes. Make sure your optic uses a 30mm tube before ordering.
Low-profile rings position your scope closer to the barrel, lowering your sight line. This is useful if you shoot from vehicles, through brush, or prefer a more compact sight picture. If you want more clearance above the receiver for larger objective bells, standard or medium rings would be better, though those would require a different mount.
This is a 2-piece design: a separate base and integral ring assembly. The two pieces spread the clamping load across more of the receiver, which helps maintain zero over time.
