The TAC 15" carbon fiber AR-15 handguard is a lightweight, high-performance rail system built for shooters who want a durable platform without the weight penalty. If you're running a full-length rifle and want to ditch heavy aluminum or polymer in favor of something that handles like it was meant for precision work, this is the upgrade that pays dividends on the range or in the field. Carbon fiber's strength-to-weight ratio is genuinely hard to beat — you get a rigid, tough handguard that stays cool to the touch even after sustained fire, which matters when you're working through a training session or a long day behind the gun.
The free-floating design minimizes harmonics and keeps your barrel predictable, while the octagonal profile and multiple cooling slots keep things smart and compact. You get a forward-mounted Picatinny rail for your optics or iron sights right where you need them, plus M-LOK mounting points along the length for slings, bipods, lights, and vertical grips. Setup is straightforward: the aluminum mounting sleeve simply clamps over your existing barrel nut — no special tools, no teardown required.
At 15" long, this handguard is sized for standard rifle-length gas systems, giving you plenty of real estate for accessories while maintaining balance and pointability. Whether you're building a precision rifle, a tactical trainer, or a hunt gun that doesn't need to apologize for its weight budget, the carbon fiber construction and modular mounting system make it a genuinely useful addition to your AR platform.

Yes. The aluminum mounting sleeve clamps directly over your existing barrel nut, so you don't need to remove or adjust it. Installation requires no special tools.
The 15" length is designed for standard rifle-length gas systems. If you're running a carbine or mid-length setup, Tulammo offers 10" and 12" versions for those configurations.
Yes. The handguard features M-LOK mounting points throughout its length, so it accepts any M-LOK-equipped accessories including slings, bipods, lights, vertical grips, and other standard tactical gear.
Carbon fiber has different thermal properties than aluminum and dissipates heat differently, allowing it to remain comfortable to the touch even during extended shooting. The multiple cooling slots enhance this advantage.
