The Surefire Protective Rear Cap Assy Tn is a rugged replacement or upgrade tailcap for Surefire Scout Lights and compatible flashlights with 3/4-inch diameter switches. Built from aerospace-grade aluminum, this rear cap assembly combines practical ergonomics with dependable activation modes—giving you precise control whether you're running drills at the range, conducting tactical training, or carrying a light for everyday use. The raised guard around the push-button is your first line of defense against unintended activation, a smart feature when your light shares pocket or holster space with other gear.

The dual-function switch design lets you work the way you need to. Press momentarily for quick bursts of illumination, then press further to "click" into constant-on mode for sustained output—ideal when you need hands-free lighting during a task or operation. A lock-out feature ensures the light stays off when it matters: during transport, storage, or tactical movements where accidental activation could compromise your position or waste battery. This is the kind of thoughtful engineering that separates Surefire gear from one-dimensional light switches.

If you already run a compatible Surefire Scout Light or flashlight and want to swap in a protective cap with smarter activation, or if you're building out a light setup with redundancy in mind, this rear cap assembly delivers the quality and functionality Surefire is known for. Aerospace-grade construction means it'll handle the environment without adding unnecessary weight or bulk to your rifle, pistol light, or handheld.
