The Strike King Rage Ned Bug is a compact soft bait built specifically for Ned rig fishing. At 2.5 inches, this lure hits the sweet spot when you need to downsize your presentation without sacrificing action. The Summer Craw color pattern works year-round but especially shines during warmer months when crawfish are active and visible to bass. Each pack contains 9 baits, giving you enough to work through a full day of experimentation or recover from snags.

What makes the Rage Ned Bug stand out is its design philosophy: four flanged appendages that generate movement with minimal rod input. Unlike heavier creature baits that demand aggressive jigging, this bait stays in the strike zone longer because even subtle twitches, pauses, and small lifts trigger realistic tail action. That responsiveness is especially valuable when you're fishing shallow cover, clear water, or pressured bass that need convincing.

The Ned rig itself—a small jighead paired with a compact soft bait—has become a staple for finesse presentations. It excels on hard bottoms, around rock, and in vegetation where full-sized crawfish imitations get hung up. The Strike King Rage Ned Bug pairs that proven body design with appendage action that keeps the lure working even when you're barely moving your rod. Whether you're fishing a tournament where downsizing matters or working tough conditions, this is a reliable choice for bass hunters who respect simplicity and proven effectiveness.
