Strike King
The Strike King Rage Ned Bug is a compact soft plastic designed to shine on the Ned rig, one of modern bass fishing's most effective presentations. At 2.5 inches, this bait hits the sweet spot between downsizing for finicky fish and maintaining the action that draws bites. The Green Pumpkin color is a proven producer across a wide range of water conditions, from clear lakes to stained reservoirs. Whether you're fishing shallow flats, rocky ledges, or anywhere you need a subtle but active bait, the Rage Ned Bug delivers.
What sets this bait apart is its four flanged appendages—those little wings and legs aren't just window dressing. Even minimal rod movement triggers them to kick and thump, creating vibration and flash that gets noticed without being aggressive. That action is exactly what you want when bass are being picky; the Ned rig's light jighead combined with this bait's built-in motion lets you cover water methodically and stay in the strike zone longer than you would with a dead-stick approach.
Each package contains 9 baits, giving you enough to work through a solid day on the water or stock your tacklebox for multiple outings. The Rage Ned Bug is equally at home in tournament competition, weekend club events, or casual fishing when you want to maximize your chances of converting bites into bass.
The Ned rig pairs a soft plastic like the Rage Ned Bug with a compact, light jighead. Cast it out, let it settle, then use subtle twitches and lifts to trigger strikes. The bait's appendages do most of the work, so you don't need dramatic rod movements—just enough to keep it active and moving through the water column.
This package contains Green Pumpkin, a color that performs consistently across clear to moderately stained water and various seasons.
Each package includes 9 Rage Ned Bugs.
The Green Pumpkin color in this package is a proven all-around choice that works in both clear and stained conditions, making it a reliable everyday option when you're not sure what the water clarity will demand.
