The Spro Little John 50 1/2oz Fire Craw is a shallow-diving crankbait built for anglers who want a compact, castable profile without sacrificing distance or durability. Designed by B.A.S.S. Elite Series angler John Crews, this 50mm hard bait delivers a 3–5 foot diving depth—perfect for working shallow cover, transition zones, and early-season flats where bass hold. The Fire Craw color pattern mimics natural crawfish, triggering strikes in clear to moderately stained water.

What sets the Little John 50 apart is its construction: a computer-designed bill that outlasts plastic components, paired with a soft tungsten weight transfer system that maximizes casting distance for a bait this size. That castability matters when you're working structure from the bank or boat, especially when you need to reach specific cover without spooking fish. The weight transfer also stays quiet during the retrieve—no rattle, just the natural wobble and flash that mimics a feeding bait.

You'll find Gamakatsu #5 round-bend treble hooks rigged straight from the box. These are among the sharpest trebles available, so hooksets stay true and fish stay buttoned. Whether you're fishing early morning shallows, cloudy days, or stained-water conditions where crawfish patterns excel, the Little John 50 Fire Craw belongs in your crankbait box.
