Sons of Liberty Gun Works
The SOLGW Quick Ambi 50 Degree Q Lever is a tactical ambidextrous safety selector built for AR-15 pattern rifles where speed and ergonomics matter. Developed through a collaboration between Sons of Liberty Gun Works and FCD (Fail Duty Company), this safety lever puts manipulation within reach of either thumb without the reach penalty of standard 90-degree designs. The 50-degree throw cuts throw distance significantly, letting you toggle the safety faster under pressure—whether you're running a duty rifle, a competition gun, or a serious hunting setup where transitions count.
Ambidextrous controls mean both your strong and support hand have real access to the safety. The design is asymmetrical by intent: the right-side lever maintains traditional proportions for natural grip posture, while the left-side lever is shortened to avoid snagging your firing hand during normal weapon handling. That thoughtful geometry is exactly what you get when two experienced companies collaborate from the ground up instead of bolting on an afterthought.
Machined from 4140 steel for durability, the Q Lever drops into any AR-15 lower receiver without special fitting. If you're running a modern rifle and find yourself hunting for the safety with your off-hand, or you're tired of that long throw eating up milliseconds in a match, this is a proven upgrade. The collaboration DNA here matters too—these aren't generic parts, they're tools built by people who use them.

| Product Type | Ambidextrous Safety Selector Lever |
| Compatibility | AR-15 Pattern Lower Receivers |
| Safety Throw | 50 Degrees |
| Material | 4140 Steel |
| Orientation | Right Hand with Left Hand Option |
Yes. The SOLGW Quick Ambi Q Lever is designed for standard AR-15 pattern lower receivers and requires no modification or gunsmithing for installation.
The 50-degree throw cuts the distance your thumb travels to toggle the safety, reducing manipulation time and allowing faster transitions. A traditional 90-degree throw requires more thumb movement and takes longer to execute under pressure.
No. The left-side safety lever is intentionally shortened compared to the right side to avoid impeding normal firing hand placement. The asymmetrical design keeps the lever accessible to your support hand without creating handling interference.
This is a true ambidextrous design—both the right and left side levers are functional and positioned for intuitive access by either hand. It's not a traditional right-hand safety with a left-side paddle tacked on; it's purpose-built for dual-hand operation from the ground up.
